A sublime, edgy fusion of jazz, ambient and drum'n-bass.
Skittering percussion over modal keyboards and synths creates a sense of unease, but one that never quite becomes unsettling, as the keyboard flourishes are too saturnine, too delicate for such an overbearing effect to be created.
At times, the keyboards almost chime, as though one is trapped in a soporific incarnation of the opening of Pink Floyd's 'Time' which to these ears, terrific.
Inventive, alluring music. Recommended.
